Gpc Lisa King

Lisa King, GPC has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Lisa started their career in 2012 as a Commissioner and Chair for Planning District 6 in the City of Jacksonville. Lisa served on the Planning Commission, where they reviewed land use changes, exceptions, and variances. In 2015, they were elected as the Chair of the Planning Commission. In 2013, Lisa also served as a Commissioner and Vice Chair for the Jacksonville Housing and Community Development Commission, representing the Planning Commission. Lisa'srole included the creation of affordable housing and eradication of substandard housing. Lisa joined Langton Consulting in 2008 as a Senior Vice President, where they specialized in grant identification and writing, grant management, strategic planning, and real estate development. Lisa also has expertise in urban infill and historic rehabilitation, client and project messaging, public speaking, and television hosting. Lastly, Lisa currently works at Halff Associates as the Florida Funding Resources Manager, a role they assumed in 2022.

Lisa King, GPC, received their BA in Political Science from Stetson University. Prior to that, they attended Wolfson High School. Additionally, Lisa obtained the Grant Professional Certified (GPC) certification from the Grant Professional Certification institute.
