Kyle Outten, P.E. has a diverse range of work experience. Kyle started their career as a Logistics Intern at Acute Technological Services, Inc. in 2010. Following that, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University. In 2012, they joined InterMoor Incorporated as a Staff Engineer, where they communicated with clients, provided training for junior engineers, and served as a Field Engineer for offshore equipment installations. In 2017, they worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at Fugro GeoConsulting, where they were responsible for field geotechnical procedures and site investigations for marine developments. Kyle then joined Tetra Tech in 2018 as an Engineering Consultant, where they utilized their knowledge in water resource engineering and contributed to projects related to stormwater management, hydraulic modeling, and FEMA claims. Currently, they are working at Halff Associates as a Water Resources Engineer, focused on developing sustainable solutions in water resource engineering, stormwater management, and hydraulic and hydrologic modeling.
Kyle Outten, P.E. received their Bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering with a concentration in Coastal and Offshore Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2011. Kyle later pursued a graduate degree in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Houston from 2018 to 2019.
In terms of certifications, Kyle obtained their Engineer in Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in November 2016. Kyle then went on to earn their Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in March 2023.
