Miles Simmons, PE, CFM has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Miles currently serves as a Project Manager at Halff Associates since February 2019. Prior to this, Miles held the position of Engineer III at AECOM, where they contributed from June 2018 to February 2019.

Before joining AECOM, Miles worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Bowman Consulting for two years, from May 2016 to June 2018. Miles also worked at AECOM again, this time as an Engineer II, from March 2015 to May 2016.

Miles's career began with JEO Consulting Group, Inc. where they worked as a Project Engineer from June 2012 to April 2015. Miles gained significant experience in their field during this time.

During their academic years, Miles served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from May 2010 to June 2012. Miles also interned at the same university as a Partners in Pollution Prevention Intern from September 2009 to May 2010.

Additionally, Miles worked as a Pollution Prevention Technical Assistance Intern at Lincoln Public Schools from May 2009 to August 2009.

Miles Simmons, PE, CFM, holds a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their M.S. degree, they completed their B.S. in Civil Engineering also at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their academic achievements, Miles has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Miles became a Professional Engineer through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in February 2017. In July 2014, they earned the Certified Floodplain Manager certification from ASFPM. Furthermore, in June 2012, Miles obtained the Engineering Intern certification from the State of Nebraska.
