Rick Howard

Rick Howard, PWS, has extensive experience in ecology and environmental consulting, currently serving as the Senior Natural Resources Team Lead and Ecologist/Project Manager at SWCA Environmental Consultants since May 2012. Prior to this role, Rick contributed as an Adjunct Instructor in Biology at McLennan Community College and Temple College from 2000 to 2012, where curriculum development was a key responsibility. Rick's background also includes serving as a Research Scientist at ACT I, managing quality control programs, and working as the Utilities Operations Supervisor for the City of Waco, overseeing environmental staff and field research projects. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Biology with a focus on Ecology from Baylor University, and has pursued a PhD in Biology (Invasive Species) at the same institution.
