Zhipeng Xing

Zhipeng Xing, P.E. has extensive work experience in project management and engineering roles. Zhipeng is currently a Project Manager at Halff Associates, where they began in May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Cude Engineers from January 2021 to May 2021. From July 2018 to January 2021, they served as a Project Manager at Doucet & Associates, Inc.

Before their project management roles, Zhipeng worked at Doucet + Chan as a Project Engineer from September 2016 to July 2018. In this role, they assisted in the production of construction drawings, managed tasks, budgets, and schedules, coordinated with clients and other consultants, and obtained permits from various agencies. Zhipeng also served as an Engineer Associate at Doucet + Chan from September 2014 to September 2017.

Zhipeng began their career as an Event Intern at Keep Austin Beautiful in February 2014 and ended in April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for social media outreach, research, coordination of volunteers, and logistics support for KAB events.

Additionally, Zhipeng has previous experience as a Civil Intern (Water) at Black & Veatch from June 2013 to December 2013, and as a Summer Intern at Parsons Brinckerhoff in July 2011 and August 2011.

Zhipeng Xing, P.E., has a strong educational background in engineering and environmental studies. From 2008 to 2012, they attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Building Services Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Zhipeng pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they attended from 2012 to 2013 and earned a Master's degree in Environmental and Water Resources.

In addition to their academic achievements, Zhipeng has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skill set. In September 2017, they became a licensed Professional Engineer through the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. More recently, in early 2021, they completed training courses in Autodesk Civil 3D 2021 Essential Training and AutoCAD Civil 3D: Site Design, both offered by LinkedIn.
