Mike Keating

Mike Keating, PE, MBA, is an experienced cost engineer and value engineering officer with the US Army Corps of Engineers since January 2011, specializing in cost estimating for various civil and military projects. In addition to this role, Mike serves as a continuing education instructor for HalfMoon Education Inc. and as an adjunct instructor at the University of South Alabama, teaching senior-level construction engineering courses. As president of Keating & Associates, a coaching and consulting firm, Mike facilitates processes aimed at organizational and personal development. Previous experience includes contract management for O'Brien's Response Management during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill cleanup and directorial responsibilities for a $300 million capital improvement plan at Baldwin County Public Schools. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA focused on Business Administration from UWF Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business.
