Jared Bearss

Jared Bearss has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jared is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Halia Therapeutics, a company focused on developing therapies for inflammatory disorders and neurological diseases. Prior to this, Jared co-founded Wasatch Scientific, a life science contract research company specializing in drug discovery and natural product development. Jared also worked at Huntsman Cancer Institute as a Senior Research Analyst, Lab Manager, and Senior Laboratory Specialist, where they contributed to the discovery and development of cancer-fighting compounds. Additionally, Jared held positions as the Associate Director Genomic Biology at Code Nutrition and as a Research Associate at SuperGen. Jared started their career as a Surgical Tech at Moutain View Hospital and later worked as a Mental Health Worker and Manager of the Crisis Unit at Heritage Schools. With a background in both healthcare and life sciences, Jared brings a wealth of experience and expertise to their current role at Halia Therapeutics.

Jared Bearss holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University.
