Rachel Field

Rachel Field is a dedicated music therapist with extensive experience across various age groups and settings. Currently serving as a Music Therapist at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts and a Community Outreach Worker for the Halifax Regional Centre for Education, Rachel has a strong background in facilitating therapeutic music sessions aimed at achieving physical, cognitive, social, and emotional goals. Previous roles include Youth Care Worker at Homebridge Youth Society and Music Therapist at Heartsparks Music Therapy and Shannex Incorporated, where Rachel collaborated with interdisciplinary teams and engaged clients through tailored music therapy approaches. Rachel also has experience as an ESL Teacher with Qkids and has contributed to creating supportive environments as a Leisure Consultant and Resident Assistant. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Acadia University, further enhancing expertise in the field.
