Alana Murray is a seasoned professional in water supply management, currently serving as the Manager of Water Supply Plants at Halifax Water since February 2010. In this role, Alana oversees the operations and maintenance of water supply plants, ensuring the provision of a reliable and safe water supply while also supervising and training a diverse working group. Alana's career includes previous positions such as Scada & Process Control Supervisor and Acting Manager Technical Services at Halifax Water, as well as Utility Technician roles at both Halifax Water and Buckeye Canada Inc. Alana also owned and operated UAC Solutions from October 2007 to January 2010. Educational credentials include a Professional Certificate of Competency in Programmable Logic Controllers and SCADA Systems from the Engineering Institute of Technology, an Industrial Electrician degree from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and studies at the University of Calgary.
