Eric Kohut

Eric Kohut has a long and varied work history. Eric began their career in 1999 as a Law Clerk at Lydia Evelyn Spragin, Attorney at Law. From 2003 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Staff Attorney at Asset Acceptance, LLC. Eric then moved on to become an Attorney at Fulton, Friedman, & Gullace, LLP from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Eric worked as an Analysis Team Manager at FirstMerit Bank. Eric then became a Compliance Section Manager/ Vice President at Huntington National Bank from 2016 to 2020. Most recently, Eric started working as Senior Legal Counsel at Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company in 2022.

Eric Kohut obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law in 2001, majoring in Law. Eric completed their Bachelor of Arts - BA in English from Ohio University in 1998. In 2016, they obtained a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification from the American Bankers Association. In 2002, they obtained a License to Practice Law in the State of Ohio from the Supreme Court of Ohio, as well as a Notary Public certification from the Ohio Secretary of State.
