Ralph Parrett is the Director of Electrical Safety Services, Midwest at Hallam-ICS. Ralph has been in this role since April of 2022 and is responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical services in the Midwest region. Prior to their current position, Ralph served as the Training Director at AVO Training Institute, Inc. from January of 2017 until April of 2022. In this role, they were responsible for installing and maintaining various types of equipment as well as machinery control and instrumentation. Ralph also troubleshot, repaired, and modified relay logic systems, ABB control systems, and GE PLC system hardware and program logic. Additionally, Ralph installed and programmed AC and DC motor Variable Frequency Drives to improve machinery performance and performed troubleshooting and repairs alongside Mechanical Maintenance personnel to reduce equipment down time. Ralph's previous experience also includes working as a First Class Electrician and Instrumentation Technician at Smurfit Kappa from January of 2016 until December of 2016.
Ralph Parrett has a Bachelor of Information System Manangement from American Military University, a High School Diploma from Jackson Heights High School, and General Studies from Colorado Technical University. Ralph is also certified from The Fiber Optic Association, Inc. (FOA) as a Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) and a Certified Fiber Optic Instructor (CFOI). Additionally, they have certification from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Designated Duty Engineer 4,000hp/3,000kW and from the US Navy in Electrical-Electronics Control Maintenance on Underway Replenishment Equipment NEC EM4668.
