Alastair Thompson

Alastair joined Hallam as an SEO Consultant in May 2022 having previously worked at Teapot Creative, an agency based in Somerset, for six years where he worked on a number of B2B and B2C projects. It was here that he developed a wide range of digital marketing skills including PPC, email marketing and his true passion for SEO.

Prior to agency life, Alastair worked in Paris for 4 years as a business English teacher, delivering classes to large international companies like Chanel, IBM and Société Générale. The SEO seed was sown when running his own music blog – his natural curiosity for how Google ranked websites became more than just a hobby.

When free from spreadsheets and Screaming Frog, Alastair enjoys cooking, watching films at the IMAX and scenic hikes in the Peak District. He also has a weird obsession for mead.
