Kate Evans

Kate Evans is a highly experienced geologist specializing in carbon storage modelling and energy transition solutions, currently serving as Solution Owner at Halliburton since May 2016. With a strong background in developing geomodels and various geological techniques, Kate has previously held roles including Technical Advisor Product Development and Subsurface Modelling Product Specialist at Halliburton, where Kate enhanced workflows in geoscience applications for the unconventional industry. Before Halliburton, Kate worked at Neftex Exploration Insights as a Senior Geologist and Team Lead, Arctic Geology, managing international teams and delivering geoscience interpretation products. Early career roles include Research Librarian at Public Health England and Plant Health Inspector at Defra. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The Open University and a Higher National Diploma in Plant Sciences from De Montfort University.
