Marc Servais

Marc Servais is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in the engineering and research fields. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Halliburton since July 2018, Marc previously held the position of Data Scientist at Winton Group from January 2011 to June 2018. Prior to that, Marc worked at Sharp Laboratories of Europe, first as Research Supervisor and then as Senior Researcher from October 2005 to December 2010. Earlier roles include Algorithm Specialist at Parsec and Electronic Engineer at Telkom. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Surrey, an MSc (Eng.) in Electrical Engineering, and a BSc (Eng.) in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Cape Town, as well as a BSc in Physics from the same institution.
