Vivek Sharma

Vivek Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial assurance, procurement, and supply chain management within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Sr. Commercial Assurance Manager for the MENA region at Halliburton since November 2019, Vivek previously held multiple leadership roles at Cairn Oil and Gas from November 2009 to November 2019, including Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Category Lead for Chemicals. Notably, Vivek spearheaded an annual Opex spend of $160 million and secured significant contracts totaling $320 million for enhanced oil recovery and upstream production chemicals. Vivek's early career includes roles at Adani Welspun Exploration Limited and Cairn Energy, with a strong academic foundation that includes an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies.
