Tyler Straessle

Tyler Straessle is an accomplished TV writer currently employed by Hallmark Media since January 2019, contributing to various Hallmark Channel Original Movies including "The Gift of Peace" and "Forever in My Heart." In addition to writing, Tyler serves as a lecturer at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts since August 2024. Previous experience encompasses roles as an ad writer for various projects and positions at NBCUniversal Media, including script coordinator and writing for "The Good Place." Early career endeavors included working as a writers' assistant at Nickelodeon and as an assistant to the showrunner on "Parks and Recreation." Tyler holds a degree in Telecommunications, TV/Film from Ball State University, awarded in 2011.
