James J. Foote

As the principal C-Level advisor, Mr. Foote works with all levels within an organization, delivering a broad range of services, combining people, process and technology to secure companies most valuable assets. With an emphasis of security, he has built a depth in defense strategy and provided oversight on everything from building technology and security programs from the ground up to maturing existing strategies, working with executives to build reasonable and appropriate security programs specific for their business and industry.

As a former Technology Executive, Mr. Foote brings 25 years of security, technology and GRC experience to developing, building, and managing strategic, converged product, technology, development, and security organizations. While working for a global fortune 100 firm, he ensured expanding coordination, collaboration and successful execution of company’s internal and external security operations worldwide. He has built a GRC program for from the ground up and helped companies obtain SOC2 Type2 as well as HITRUST certified security programs. This program established the overall security risk profile of the business unit. As part of the GRC program Mr. Foote established and chaired the Executive Security Council, made up of the CIO, CTO, CFO, CMO, Chief Legal Counsel, and head of HR. He maintained the transparency of business security, risk and compliance within the Executive Security Council and Company’s Board of Directors. He was also a member of the Chief Audit (ERM) council, representing security, risk and compliance. Through these programs, risk remediation times improved by 42%.
