Irwin Goldstein has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Irwin began their career in 1979 as a Programmer/Analyst at Nabih's, where they worked until 1981. Irwin then joined London House as a Sr. Director of MIS from 1981 to 1995. Afterward, they worked at McGraw-Hill/London House as a Sr. Director of MIS from 1985 to 1995. In 1995, Goldstein joined Objective Software Systems, Inc. as a Vice President, Consultant, and contributed to the company until 2005. Since 2005, they have been associated with HALO Branded Solutions, initially as the Director of Application Development, and currently serving as the VP of Enterprise and Solution Architecture.

Irwin Goldstein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago from 1979 to 1983. Irwin later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1985.
