David Townsend

David Townsend, CFA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Currently, they are the Head of Product Marketing and Thought Leadership at Halo Investing, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, David was an Adjunct Faculty at Lewis University's Graduate School of Management, where they taught business courses and conducted research on topics such as corporate governance and managerial effectiveness.

David Townsend, CFA has a strong educational background in finance and business administration. David obtained their B.S.B.A. in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. David later pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Markets, specializing in Financial Engineering and Investments, from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Additionally, David is currently a doctoral student at DePaul University, where they are pursuing a degree in Business Administration.

Alongside their educational background, David also holds certifications in the field. David is certified in Inbound Marketing by HubSpot, obtained in July 2015. Furthermore, they have earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, which enhances their expertise and credibility in the finance field.
