Jeff Hathaway

Jeff Hathaway serves as the Director of the Resilient Navigation and Timing Foundation and Co-Chairman of the Coast Guard National Retiree Council, both since 2019. As President of Security Shield Associates, LLC since 2010, Jeff Hathaway provides specialized consulting in homeland security and national defense, focusing on aligning private sector capabilities with security needs. Additionally, Jeff serves as Vice Chairman of the Navy Safe Harbor Foundation and as a member of the Board of Advisors for HALO Maritime Defense Systems. Past roles include Executive Committee Member and Director for the Surface Navy Association and VP/Senior Engagement Executive at Flatter & Associates, Inc. Jeff's military background includes serving as a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 30 years. Educational qualifications include an MS in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, a BS in Economics from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
