Justin B. Carangelo

Justin Carangelo is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at HaloMD since September 2025. Prior to this role, Justin held the position of Vice President, Associate General Counsel - Revenue & Technology Operations at Envision Healthcare, where leadership of a team focused on revenue generation, payor litigation, managed care contracting, and regulatory advice on emerging technologies was key. Justin's prior experience includes serving as Senior Managed Care Counsel at HCA Healthcare, negotiating multi-billion dollar managed care deals, and acting as General Counsel for a subsidiary, as well as a tenure as Deputy General Counsel at MVP Health Care, overseeing a multi-state health plan's legal and compliance matters. Justin began a legal career as Associate Counsel at Capital District Physicians' Health Plan, Inc., advising on compliance and employment law issues. Justin holds a JD from Albany Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany.
