Chris Lyon

Before joining HalseyPoint, Chris was a Vice President at BlackRock US Private Capital, joining BlackRock following its acquisition of Tennenbaum Capital Partners, which he joined in 2017.

While at BlackRock, Mr. Lyon was responsible for investing across the firm’s private credit, CLO, and special situations platforms, managing an investment portfolio of approximately $1 billion. Mr. Lyon covered a broad range of industry verticals at BlackRock, specializing primarily in the technology, financial, and healthcare sectors.

Before joining Tennenbaum Capital Partners, Mr. Lyon was an Associate in HSBC’s Leveraged and Acquisition Finance group, with responsibility for structuring, underwriting, and syndicating leveraged loans for issuers primarily in the technology, packaging, and healthcare sectors.

Mr. Lyon received a double BA in Econ-Accounting and French from UC Santa Barbara and an MA in Finance from Claremont McKenna. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.
