Shaheen K.

Shaheen K. is an experienced language educator currently serving as a LINC-ESL Instructor with the Halton District School Board since September 2023, and also teaches English as a Second Language at Polycultural Immigrant & Community Services. Previous roles include LINC Instructor at COSTI and English Second Language Instructor for the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. Additionally, Shaheen has contributed as a Volunteer Teaching Assistant and ESL Teacher. Before transitioning to education, Shaheen worked as a Lifestyle Correspondent for The Retail Jeweller Magazine and as a Web Content Writer at Lumina Datamatics in India, demonstrating strong writing and editorial skills. Shaheen holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Mumbai and a TESL certification from the Canadian College of Educators.
