Yerzhan Bekmukhanbetov

Yerzhan Bekmukhanbetov has a strong background in legal support and corporate governance. Yerzhan worked at Halyk Bank for six years, starting as a Chief Manager in the Legal Department and eventually becoming the Head of the General Methodology Division. During their time at Halyk Bank, Bekmukhanbetov was involved in various projects, including mergers and acquisitions, incorporation of a subsidiary bank, consent solicitation from bondholders, share buy back deals, due diligence processes, and compliance with competition law requirements. In 2018, they joined Samsung Electronics as a Senior Legal Counsel, further expanding their expertise in the field.

Yerzhan Bekmukhanbetov's education history begins with earning a Bachelor's degree in Law from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a program they attended from 2006 to 2010. Yerzhan then pursued further education, completing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law from the same university from 2011 to 2012.
