Maram Hasanain

Maram Hasanain began their work experience at Habtoor Leighton Group in 2011, where they interned as an IT Specialist for three months. In 2012, they joined Qatar University as a Graduate Assistant, focusing on research in Engineering Education and also assisting with teaching undergraduate courses. Maram continued their work at Qatar University as a Research Assistant, specializing in information retrieval over Arabic content, especially social media posts. Maram worked on various projects related to adhoc search and misinformation detection. In 2023, Maram started working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Qatar Computing Research Institute.

Maram Hasanain is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Qatar University, with an expected completion date in 2022. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computing from Qatar University, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Maram also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering, which they completed at Qatar University from 2008 to 2012.
