Sabri Boughorbel

Sabri Boughorbel's work experience begins in 2001 when they obtained their PhD in Machine Learning from Université Paris-Saclay | Inria Rocquencourt. During this time, they focused on designing new kernels in support vector machines for object recognition and developing optimization methods for SVM hyperparameters tuning.

In 2005, Sabri worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Télécom Paris, where they conducted research in machine learning.

From 2006 to 2014, Sabri worked at Philips as a Senior Scientist, contributing their expertise in machine learning.

In 2014, Sabri joined Sidra Medicine as a Full Staff Scientist, where they conducted research on machine learning and artificial intelligence for healthcare applications. Sabri later became a Staff Scientist - Full Level | Team Leader, leading a research team and developing a research strategy for Sidra Medicine in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Sabri also established collaborations with physicians to explore the use of artificial intelligence in clinical applications.

Most recently, in 2021, Sabri joined Qatar Computing Research Institute as a Machine Learning Researcher. No end date is provided for this role.

Sabri Boughorbel obtained a Master's degree in Signal Processing from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) during the period of 2000 to 2001.
