Dr. Anas Hamad

Dr. Anas Hamad, PhD, MSc, DMS, BSc, RPh, is an accomplished pharmacy professional currently serving as the Director of the Pharmacy Department at the National Center for Cancer Care & Research (NCCCR) of Hamad Medical Corporation and holding multiple key leadership roles within the organization, including Head of Medication Safety & Quality Center and Head of Pharmacy Research Center. With extensive experience in clinical pharmacy and healthcare leadership, Dr. Hamad also contributes to national health initiatives as the Lead of the Health Technology Assessment and Innovation Regulation Project at the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar. In academia, Dr. Hamad is a Clinical Associate Professor in Pharmacy at Qatar University and has received numerous accolades for contributions to clinical practice and medication use. Dr. Hamad actively participates in professional organizations, serving as Vice President of the Qatar Chapter for ISPOR and holding positions on various committees focused on medication services and health economics. Educational credentials include a PhD from King's College London and a Master's from the University of London, among other qualifications.
