Toru Nanami

Toru Nanami currently serves as a delegate for the US-Japan Leadership Program 2024 at the United States-Japan Foundation, focusing on fostering connections among influential leaders in the U.S. and Japan. As the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of HAMASA-EN Co., Ltd., a long-established Japanese tea trading company, Toru has significant leadership experience. Previous roles include Associate at Global Capital Markets and Analyst at the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley, and a Legal Office Assistant at the Law Offices of Donald W. Fetherston where operational efficiency improvements were made. Additional experiences include a Global Markets Internship at Barclays and guest lecturing at Colégio O Bom Pastor. Toru holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from The University of British Columbia.
