Doug Clemens

Doug Clemens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Doug started their career at UPS as a part-time supervisor, overseeing a team of 20-25 employees and conducting weekly training for new hires. Doug then joined IGT as a Software Engineer, leading a team of five developers in creating a casino floor management system using C#.NET and Service Oriented Architecture. After a decade at IGT, Doug moved on to Hamilton Company, where they progressed from Software Engineer to Software Engineering Manager/Senior Manager and eventually Director of Software Engineering. During their time at Hamilton Company, they managed multiple development groups, expanded the team by 150%, and mentored and coached technical leads for management positions. Doug also played a key role in the architecture, design, and implementation of various projects, including front-end applications for a liquid handling robotic platform and a web app utilizing Angular, C#/MS SQL, and an existing company platform. Doug's expertise lies in software engineering, team management, and project leadership.

Doug Clemens completed their high school education at Douglas High School, receiving a diploma in 1995. Following their high school graduation, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Nevada, Reno from 1995 to 2001.
