Jesse Gray

Jesse Gray currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for Talent Acquisition and Strategic Partnerships at the Hamilton County Department of Education, a role held since December 2020, with prior positions including Strategic Partnerships Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Manager. Gray's experience in education extends to Nashville Teacher Residency as Programs Manager and Resident Development Manager from June 2017 to December 2020, and as an Instructional Coach and Teacher at LEAD Public Schools from July 2013 to June 2017. Previous roles also include Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University and Teacher at Montgomery Bell Academy. Gray holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University, along with degrees in English and Psychology/Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
