Jared Marcus

Jared Marcus has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jared is currently working as the Director of Laboratory Services at Hamilton Healthcare System since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Pandemic Response and Testing Coordinator at Marble Falls ISD from December 2020 to July 2021, where they played a crucial role in mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring in-person learning.

Jared also worked at AMN Healthcare as a Biological Scientist from July 2016 to December 2020. During this time, they provided management support, delivered exceptional service, and ensured compliance with various standards and regulations to achieve business objectives. Notably, they served high-profile clients such as Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Mosaic Life Care.

Before joining AMN Healthcare, Jared served as a Soldier in the US Army Medical Department (AMEDD) from 2013 to 2016. Jared provided quality care for patients, soldiers, veterans, and dependents while aligning the staff training program with the army's mission, values, culture, and strategic goals.

Jared Marcus has a Master of Science degree in Health Administration from Trident University International, where they also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. Jared pursued further education at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, focusing on Medical Scientist studies. Additionally, Jared received Army Medical Training in Clinical Laboratory Science from the Medical Education and Training Center. Jared has also obtained various certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Certified, Certified Business Office Manager, Executive Management Certified, and Medical Office Administrator Certified from the Management & Strategy Institute. Jared is also Board Certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and holds Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Jared is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
