Daran Gaus

Daran Gaus has a long and varied work experience. In 2022, they began working as the Chief Operating Officer at Hamilton Health Box, a value-based primary care microclinic leader. In 2021, they began working as a United States Air Force Academy Admissions Liaison Officer for the US Air Force Reserve. Daran also founded Athenium Media, a company that creates content that incorporates education and entertainment. In 2019, they became the Vice President of Operations at Apex Health Solutions, a Houston-based transformational healthcare company. In 2017, they were the Director of Strategic Planning at Memorial Hermann Health System. In 2015, they were a full-time MBA student at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, where they were also the President of the Jones Student Association. In 2016, they were an Organizational Development Consultant at Baylor College of Medicine and a Global Wealth Management Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan. Lastly, from 2003 to 2016, they were an Officer, Combat Rescue Helicopter Pilot, Weapons Officer, Evaluator and Instructor Pilot for the United States Air Force, where they held several different roles.

Daran Gaus has completed a variety of educational experiences, including a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Healthcare and Operations, Doctoral Studies in Health Informatics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), Executive Education from Harvard Business School in Value Measurement for Health Care, a Master's Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University, a PhD-level graduate degree in battle-space dominance across land, air, space, and cyber domains from the United States Air Force Weapons School, Air Force Pilot Wings from the United States Air Force Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the United States Air Force Academy.
