Tyler Simpson

Tyler Simpson, CPA, currently serves as Vice President of Valuation at Hamilton Lane, a position held since January 2018, after previously working as a Valuation Senior Associate. Prior experience includes a role at EY from October 2011 to December 2017, where Tyler specialized in Valuation and Business Modeling, valuing 250 operating entities for tax planning during a diversified chemicals merger and developing a reputation for data manipulation and modeling. Responsibilities also included conducting purchase price allocations and leading training in legal entity valuations and audit assistance. Earlier, Tyler worked as an Assurance Senior, auditing the asset management industry, and completed an Assurance Summer Internship at Ernst & Young in 2010. Tyler holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Temple University, earned in 2011.
