Margot King

Margot King is a partner at Hamilton Locke. Margot has over 15 years of experience in the legal industry, specializing in real estate.

King began their career as an associate at Allens Arthur Robinson. Margot then spent a year on secondment at Slaughter and May before returning to Allens Arthur Robinson as a senior associate. In 2007, they joined CMS Cameron McKenna as a senior associate, and then returned to Allens Arthur Robinson in 2009 as of counsel.

In 2014, King joined Jones Day as legal counsel, advising on the Barangaroo South urban regeneration project. Margot left Jones Day in 2018 to join Walker Corporation as project legal counsel for the Parramatta Square project. King then joined Piper Alderman in 2019 as partner and head of real estate in Sydney.

Margot King completed an MSc in Law and Finance at the University of Oxford, LLB (Hons) in Law at The University of Western Australia, and BA in Communication Studies at Murdoch University.
