William Rawlins has had a diverse range of work experiences. William began their career at BW Controls as a panel wireman, where they were responsible for wiring electrical control panels and producing AutoCAD wiring diagrams. William worked in this role from June 2008 to June 2012.

Following this, Rawlins joined Taunton & Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, where they worked as a Medical Electronics Technician/Biomedical Technician. In this role, they serviced and repaired various medical equipment, gained valuable knowledge on equipment such as anaesthetic machines and x-ray equipment, and rotated between teams.
