John Pauls has extensive experience in law enforcement, serving with the Hamilton Police Service since September 2011 in various capacities, including Inspector Field Support, Staff Sergeant in uniform patrol at 30 Division, and Detective within the child abuse unit, while also acting as a crime manager for specific neighbourhoods. Prior experience includes a role as Constable at Hamilton Police Service from 2006 to 2011, and earlier service as a Constable with the Halton Regional Police Service from 2001 to 2006. John Pauls holds an Honours BA in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
