Simona Dinu

Simona Dinu currently serves as the Director of Public Services at Hamilton Public Library, where responsibilities include overseeing service delivery across all library branches and leading a team of 12 branch managers. In addition, Simona is the Founder of Connect to Grow, providing executive coaching for public service leaders, and an Instructor at Mohawk College, teaching Library Financial Management and Budgeting. Previous roles include Director of Customer Experience at Oakville Public Library, where Simona managed services across multiple branches and an operating budget of $6 million, and various positions at Mississauga Library System, including Senior Librarian and Librarian Assistant, focusing on branch supervision, community outreach, and collection management. Simona holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and has earned both a Master of Library & Information Science and a Bachelor in Commerce with a focus on Business Administration and Human Resources.
