Kyndra Hughes

Kyndra Hughes is an experienced educator currently serving as an Occasional Teacher at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kyndra held various positions at the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph, including Camp Coordinator and After School Child Care Worker from February 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included supervising young children and facilitating play-based learning. Kyndra's earlier experience includes working as an Educator at First Steps Child Care Centre, as well as serving as a waitress at Sunset Grill Restaurant and The Keg Steakhouse + Bar, focusing on customer service and hospitality. Kyndra began her career as a Camp Counsellor at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario. Kyndra holds a Bachelor of Education from Brock University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph.
