Cesar Romero

Cesar Romero has a wealth of experience in the manufacturing industry. Cesar started their career at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions, where they worked in various roles, including Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing General Supervisor, and Manufacturing Engineering General Supervisor. In these positions, they focused on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. Cesar also oversaw the coordination of documentation, cost estimates, samples requests, and equipment and fixture design.

Romero was then promoted to Plant Manager, where they led a team of 600+ staff and managed a high-mix, high-volume business for appliance customers. Cesar utilized continuous improvement tools such as lean manufacturing, employee involvement, and six sigma to drive operational improvements and ensure superior quality, on-time delivery, and strong cash flow and margin.

Later on, Romero was promoted to Director of Operations, where they led 900+ staff in two manufacturing plants with an annual sales of $70M. Cesar also acted as the Plant Manager, overseeing various departments such as HR, Materials, Finance, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance, Production, Customer Service, and Trade compliance.

Most recently, Romero worked as the Director of Operations - Mexico at Hammond Power Solutions. In this role, they led a team of 750+ staff across multiple plants in Mexico and the USA, with annual sales exceeding $250M. Hammond Power Solutions is a leading company in the dry type transformers industry in North America.

Cesar Romero attended the Instituto Tecnológico de la Laguna from 1984 to 1988. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing Equipment Design. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution during the same period.
