Brenda Brothers Morgan has extensive experience in outreach and health services, currently serving as a Health Insurance and Outreach Specialist at Hampton Roads Community Health Center since March 2017, where responsibilities include enrolling clients into FAMIS and Medicaid. Prior to this role, Brenda worked as a FAMIS Outreach Specialist at The Planning Council, gaining certification through the Virginia Department of Healthcare and developing knowledge of Medicare and resources for the uninsured. Earlier positions include serving as a Pharmacy and Medication Assistant Coordinator at Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia and operating a home daycare as the Managing Owner of Brenda's Vision Child Care Center. Brenda’s background also features experience as a Commercial and School Bus Driver, emphasizing safety and client needs. Educational accomplishments include studies at Tidewater Community College.

Hampton Roads Community Health Center (HRCHC), formerly known as Portsmouth Community Health Center, Inc., opened its doors as a federally qualified health center on May 14, 1995, in Portsmouth, Virginia, with two doctors, one family nurse practitioner and eleven clinical support and administrative staff. Clinical services include but are not limited to the following: - Treatment for both acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes, stroke, hypertension, diet and nutrition - Women’s health services - Family planning services - Prenatal care and postpartum visits - Pediatric well baby, immunizations and school and sports physicals - Preventive dental and restorative care for adults and children - Medication Assistance Program for prescription drugs - On site laboratory testing - Case management services
