Bobak Willis-Jones

Bobak Willis-Jones is an experienced hydrogeologist currently serving as Manager Hydrogeology at Hancock Prospecting since March 2024. Previously, Bobak held several prominent positions at BHP Billiton Nickel West Pty Ltd, including Superintendent Water Planning and Principal Water Management, from November 2021 to March 2024. Bobak also worked as Superintendent Hydrogeology at Roy Hill from January 2018 to November 2021 and as Superintendent Environment - Water at Glencore Copper for a brief period in 2017. From August 2015 to February 2017, Bobak was the Head of Department, Mining at DHI Water and Environment Pty Ltd, focusing on integrated water management solutions. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager, Water at Fortescue Metals Group and various roles at URS Corporation, IT Environmental, and Troy Resources NL. Bobak holds a Master of Science in Applied Geology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from Curtin University.
