Joyce Lim

Joyce Lim is a talented design professional with extensive experience in architectural design and user experience. Currently serving as the Lead for UX Design at Hack for LA since March 2023, Joyce collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on innovative projects such as a TDM Calculator for the city of Los Angeles. As a Project Designer at Handel Architects since April 2019, Joyce focuses on developing design sets for multifamily residential and mixed-use buildings while effectively managing client and consultant communications. Additionally, Joyce is the Founder and Blogger at Sohntaste, a platform that explores Korean-American food identity, blending creativity with social impact by raising funds for local BIPOC non-profits. Previous roles include UX Designer at ScholarRise, Designer at KTGY, and Junior Designer at Sidell Pakravan Architects, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in both design and project management. Joyce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a focus on Sustainable Design from the University of California, Berkeley.
