Licensed Mental Health Therapists (full-time, Multiple Roles)

Full-time · United States

Job description

Who we are

Handspring Health has set out to rebuild the pediatric behavioral health system from the ground up. Our mission is to create a world where our children’s mental health is cared for as much as their physical health is.

We are building a modern clinic for children and families. We deliver a care experience that integrates our digital platform, in-person clinics, and telehealth to deliver the right care, at the right time. In addition to psychotherapy, our services will soon include access to evidence-based content, psychiatry, and medication management for children and families.

We're seeking multiple Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team!

What you’ll do

  • Be part of a mission-driven healthcare organization looking to make quality pediatric behavioral health more accessible for children and families
  • Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices for children and adolescents
  • We currently have both remote and hybrid positions available. For hybrid positions, you will be remote-only at first, with a plan to transition to a hybrid model of both telehealth and in-person sessions at our new clinic, opening in 2024
  • In the future, there will be opportunities to facilitate group therapy for children and adolescents and/or groups for parents on parenting strategies
  • For clinicians who are interested, there will be opportunities to help build programming, such as creating curriculum for CBT and parent groups

What sets us apart

  • This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation and full benefits. This is NOT a per session position. There is no pressure to meet unreasonable productivity standards
  • Opportunity to become licensed in additional states
  • We are committed to providing our clients with care that is effective, accessible, and affordable
  • We are an innovative, growing company that uses technology to (1) streamline day-to-day administrative tasks for our clinicians and (2) improve clinical care through our online patient portal, where children and families can access education materials and complete journals and rating scales to track client progress
  • We’ll handle scheduling with clients so you don’t have to spend time trying to manage calendars
  • We provide opportunities for collaborating with other clinicians through consultation groups and participating in training
  • We provide our clinical team with access to free continuing education units to meet licensing requirements

Who we are looking for

  • Licensed Mental Health Professionals with at least 3 years post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy
  • Active unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC etc) in New Jersey, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Texas, or Connecticut
  • Experience working with children and/or adolescents and their parents
  • Availability during evening hours is required
  • Knowledge of and/or training in evidence based treatments for depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, behavioral challenges, and other diagnoses of childhood and adolescence
  • CBT, DBT, PMT certifications are a plus
  • Ability to work independently with an interest in collaboration and learning
  • Comfort with using and learning new technologies, including Zoom, Office, electronic health record systems, and other team collaboration tools
