Mitchell Whittaker

Mitchell Whittaker is a seasoned category manager with extensive experience in the lighting industry, currently serving as the Category Manager at Haneco Lighting Australia since December 2022. Previously, Mitchell held senior management roles at Sylvania-Schréder, focusing on sports, urban decorative, and industrial lighting solutions. At GLG, Mitchell excelled as a Senior Category Manager for roadway and smart lighting solutions, alongside serving as a certified roadway application engineer and lighting design engineer. Earlier career experience includes working as a draftsman at TSF Engineering, where Mitchell designed electrical and pipeline schematics. Mitchell holds a Master of Design Science in Illumination Design from the University of Sydney and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from TAFE NSW - Hunter Institute.
