Tim Darcy has extensive work experience in the financial industry, primarily focusing on the ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) sector. Their most recent role is as a ETF Operations professional at HANetf, a position they have held since 2023.

Their career in the financial industry began at State Street in 2001, where they worked as a Manager and Specialist in the reconciliation department, as well as a Custody Manager. In these roles, Darcy was responsible for trade execution, cash and asset reconciliations, and process improvements.

Tim Darcy has a diverse education and certification history. Tim first attended Dublin City University from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance, with a focus on accounting. After a break, they continued their education at Dublin Business School from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained a Diploma in Investment Fund Services, specializing in mutual funds.

In addition to their educational background, Tim also holds various certifications. In October 2018, they obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification from Bloomberg LP. Prior to that, in August 2016, they obtained the Series 63 License and the Series 7 License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
