Katy Bispham has over a decade of experience in education, currently serving as an Academic Coach and Special Education Teacher at Hanford Joint Union High School District since August 2015. Prior to this, Katy worked as a Teacher in the El Paso Independent School District from January 2011 to June 2015 and as a Child Development Specialist at Fort Bliss Child, Youth, and School Services from January 2010 to January 2011. Earlier in their career, Katy was involved in guest services at Nugget Market, Inc. from June 2000 to January 2009. Academically, Katy holds a Master of Arts in Educational/Instructional Technology from Western Governors University (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from California State University-Sacramento.

The Hanford Joint Union High School District (HJUHSD) is a 9-12 public school district serving the students and families of the western half of Kings County, California, in the heart of the Central San Joaquin Valley, including the cities of Hanford and Armona. Founded in 1892, HJUHSD today employs about 400 faculty and staff and serves approximately 6,000 students at five schools: Hanford High School, Hanford West High School, Sierra Pacific High School, Earl F. Johnson High School and Hanford Adult School.
