Ala Fard is a UX Designer and Researcher currently engaged with End Grain Research and Evaluation since February 2022, focusing on optimizing equity in evaluation practices and supporting racial identity development through the Samahra platform. Concurrently, Ala contributes to Hang5, a mobile application centered on connecting individuals through Eastern Astrology. Prior to these roles, Ala served as a Therapist at Oasis Center for Health from February 2017 to October 2021, where responsibilities included database analysis and organizational support. Ala's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biological Engineering from Kansas State University and a Certificate in User Experience Design from General Assembly. Previous research work involved a thesis on Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever while serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University.
