From 2014 to 2018, they were Project Manager at Cowichan Energy Alternatives and Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op. From 2013 to 2014, they were Client Services Project Manager at Ergo Eco Solutions Inc., Social Media and Web Manager at Batchelor Stamm Law Corporation, and Director Operations at Impact99 - Social Media & HR Summit - Re-Invent the Workplace. From 2013 to 2021, they were Co-Founder of MRKS Media.

M Hassaan completed their A-Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Information Technology from Roots College International from 2005 to 2008. M Hassaan then pursued a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in Communications & Media Studies from Quest University Canada from 2008 to 2012, and also completed a semester abroad in International Relations and Affairs at Malmö University from 2011 to 2012. In 2016, they obtained a Masters Certificate in Project Management (MCPM) from Schulich School of Business - York University.
