Petri Salonen

Petri Salonen has extensive experience in local government and healthcare administration, currently serving as a part-time group leader for the Center Party and member of the municipal council in Haninge since 2010. Salonen has held multiple leadership roles, including chair of the city planning committee and municipal councilor, and was elected as chair of the social welfare committee in Region Stockholm in January 2023, focused on the development and procurement of prehospital healthcare. Previous positions include contract administrator and secretary to the first county councilor for the Center Party at Stockholms läns landsting, and president of Jönköpings Studentkår. Salonen's educational background includes a degree from Jönköping University, with additional studies at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
