Yoka Chun

Yoka Chun has worked as a Software Product Designer at Hank Payments since May 2023. Prior to that, from October 2020 to March 2023, Yoka worked as an Experience Design Consultant at IBM iX, where they were responsible for creating a mobile banking app and designing a KPI Dashboard. From March 2019 to October 2020, Yoka was a UI/UX Designer at PRIZM Group, where they collaborated on various marketing websites and designed a CRM membership website and a responsive website for vehicle pre-orders. Before that, from August 2018 to February 2019, Yoka worked as a UX/UI Designer at WECREATE Advertising Agency, delivering responsive websites and mobile apps. Their earliest experience was as a UX/UI Designer at Sanity Solutions from August 2017 to August 2018, where they focused on designing UI elements and ensuring adherence to style standards.

Yoka Chun holds a Master's degree in Design Strategies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which was obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Yoka completed a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2019. Yoka also earned a Higher Diploma in Advertising Design with a specialization in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design from the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to formal education, Yoka holds various certifications. Yoka obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in January 2023. Yoka also secured the Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from World Education Services in November 2022. Furthermore, Yoka obtained the following certifications from Udemy: The Complete 2022 Web Development Bootcamp in April 2022, Service Design: Designing for Experience Over Time in January 2022, The Simple Way to Conduct a UX Audit in August 2021, and UX Fundamentals: Practical Usability for Product Design in August 2021. Yoka also obtained several certifications from IBM, including IBM Agile Explorer and IBM Garage Essentials in August 2021, Banking Industry Jumpstart in April 2021, Enterprise Design Thinking - Team Essentials for AI, Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator, IBM Garage Methodology Explorer, Design & User Experience (D&UX) Essentials, and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner in 2020.
